‘Tsunami’ is, without a doubt, La Cendejas’ deepest and most personal work, where she follows in the footsteps of the success of her previous songs with a more introspective look. This new release stands out for its raw, brave, feminine and empowered themes from a renewed approach and with a palpable maturity.
The artist highlights her ability to combine emotive lyrics with enveloping melodies. Thus, in these six songs she explores universal themes such as love, authenticity and personal growth based on her own experiences in recent years. Paula opens up to her audience, explaining how she has felt, ready to talk about it and without turning her back on her fears.
Because Paula’s last year has been like a ‘Tsunami’ that sweeps away everything in its path, leaving the ground ready to build again. In this project, she shows herself to be more unabashed to come back stronger, real and raw, astonishing with a change of image and name that reflects empowerment and naturalness.
The project is made up of six songs and closes with ‘X’, the video clip that accompanies the release of the album, a cry of anger and rebellion written in a moment of rage over a failed relationship. During the first stage of the break-up, the singer exposes the lie in which she lived during the relationship. This song full of hate and resentment is accompanied by a powerful electronic beat that captivates with its poignant lyrics.
With this EP produced by Carlos Ares in full, Paula Cendejas presents a collection of songs that reflect her artistic evolution, consolidating herself as one of the most promising voices on the current music scene. These three new songs come with a strong footprint so that fans can get to know the artist more closely, demonstrating her ability to move and inspire.
