This is the highest national fashion award, valued at €100,000 and organised in collaboration with INDITEX.
The Valencian designer received the award yesterday, which began early in the morning with the presentation of the different creative projects of the three finalists and continued with the deliberation of the jury made up of Lulú Figueroa, Sara Hernando, Helena Contreras, Pepa Bueno, Eloy Martínez de la Pera, Inés Lorenzo, Sita Abellán, Minerva Portillo and Paula Cánovas del Vas.
Sonia Carrasco and David Salvador and Javier Zunzunegui, creative directors of Habey Club, were also in contention for the acclaimed prize, but it was Pepa Salazar who won it, dedicating it to all the women and people who have collaborated with her throughout her career. She also commented that she would use the prize money to further internationalise her eponymous brand.
Thus, the creative joins the renowned Vogue Fashion Fund generation, composed of great figures of the industry such as Marcela Mansergas, Juan Vidal, Maria Ke Fisherman, ManéMané, Moises Nieto, Leandro Cano, Palomo Spain, Carlota Barrera, Mans, Dominnico and Paula Cánovas del Vas.
