Continuing with the tributes to the House’s symbol par excellence.
Under the creative direction of Sabato de Sarno comes a new chapter in the history of the 1953 Horsebit from Italian actor, screenwriter and director Pietro Castellitto. On this special occasion, like Paul Mescal and Kingsley Ben-Adir before him, the protagonist of this installment presents his own interpretation of the moccasin, reflecting the ever-evolving Gucci vision of modern masculinity.
The campaign, set in a creative space filled with books, music and art, captures Castellitto‘s laid-back attitude through a series of portraits in which he naturally explores a variety of looks, from casual to refined, always in the presence of the Gucci Horsebit 1953 loafer. With its iconic metallic appliqué, this model of footwear becomes the common thread of this metamorphosis, and highlights the central place it occupies in the creative director‘s men’s wardrobe.
