The console, originally announced to be called Project Q, will eventually be released as ‘PlayStation Portal’.
Described as a “remote control”, it features an 8-inch LCD screen, up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handheld will be priced at €219.99 and will go on sale later this year, as reported in an official statement, which also states that it “is the perfect device for gamers in homes where they may need to share their living room TV or simply want to play PS5 games in another room of the house.”
The launch will be accompanied by two other new models of wireless headphones: the Pulse Elite (€149.99) and the Pulse Explore (€219.99).
In the meantime… We’ve got all the details on the new PS5 Slim.
