The controversial LA-based brand continues to explore the history of music through a capsule collection deeply inspired by the legacy of Sonic Youth, one of the most influential bands of the American underground. A tribute that materializes through the printing and incorporation of photographs, album artwork and archival graphics of the band in their pieces.
In the new range, Pleasures celebrates the influence and post-punk perspective of the alternative rock band formed in NY from 38 pieces ranging from jackets and sweatshirts, to graphic tees, jeans, shorts and accessories in different prints and colorways. On them, photographs of band members and representative graphics of Raymond Pettibon and Mike Kelley are projected, with which to sheathe in the whole universe and dissident values that represented.
The Sonic Youth by PLEASURES collection is now available on the PLEASURES website, and will be available in select stores starting July 7 at 10 a.m.
