Polaroid is committed to limitless creativity and launches its latest innovation: Blue 600 Film Reclaimed Edition, an original film discovered through experimentation and which encourages you to make the most of the extra hours of daylight.
Brian Slaghuis, a chemist at Polaroid, created this product by accident. While experimenting to further improve the company‘s films, and having tested over 200 different chemicals, he came up with the most powerful blue he had ever seen. By mixing a specific chemical TBHQ with film that had been discarded for commercialisation, Blue 600 Film was born.
“It’s science mixed with human perseverance and extraordinary accidents,” says Oskar Smolokowski, President of Polaroid.
A limited edition film through which you can capture unpublished images, you just have to let yourself be surprised by the randomness. You can find the Blue 600 Film Reclaimed Edition on polaroid.com and in selected retail shops.
