Captured by photographer Johnny Dufort, the campaign drenches Gray in the psychedelic prints intrinsic to PUCCI’s inimitable DNA.
Camille Miceli takes inspiration from two seemingly disparate worlds: the opulence of Prince’s outfits and the comfort yet sophistication of figure skating costumes. Combining music, dance and sport, Pucci sets off on a collection that offers a new twist on funk and the brand’s iconic imagery from the 60s and 70s.
The collection is divided into three main themes: Late Summer in the City, Full Summer by the Sea and Urban Sunset. Each presents a unique vision, with prints and colors that evoke different moments and scenarios of life.
Late Summer in the City introduces prints such as Orchidee, Marmo and Iride, deployed in light, coordinated ensembles. Here, flowing jersey tops and sinuous dresses are complemented by tailored pants, in a palette that combines multicolored tones on dark backgrounds, highlighting the dynamism of the city.
Pleno Verano junto al Mar is an ode to beach relaxation, with vibrant shades of orange, pink and lime. This capsule features white T-shirts with printed sleeves, iconic Pucci kaftans and strappy bikinis, all designed for sunny getaways.
And thirdly we find Urban Sunset, which closes the collection with a more artistic and refined vision, including embellished knitwear, flowing skirts and reinterpretations of Pucci’s Marmo denim. In terms of colors, black and powder pink dominate the scene, evoking the subtlety of dance.
Accessories play an essential role in the collection. Angled heeled sandals and utilitarian boots with feminine details, such as a foulard at the back, complement the looks. The jeweled sandal, adorned with rhinestone feathers and small pearls, stands out as a key piece, reinforcing the Pucci aesthetic. In handbags, the Yummy shoulder and bucket styles are presented as functional and colorful options, perfect for everyday. In addition, the handbag line includes elegant evening pieces. But we can also unexpectedly find items such as paddle paddles, a soccer ball and even an alarm clock covered in Marmo print, as well as products for dogs and personalized letters.
For yet another season, Camille Miceli manages to capture the essence of the house, infusing it with a renewed energy that makes it ever more appealing to today’s customer. With an optimistic vision, Pucci revives its classic codes while looking to a future full of color, rhythm and urban sophistication.
