During London Fashion Week and with the aim of supporting emerging designers, innovation and sustainability, the initiative will have a special showcase in Selfridges.
Pull&Bear and the British Fashion Council are joining forces this season to strengthen the NEWGEN project to which great fashion houses and designers such as Alexander McQueen, Jonathan Anderson and Grace Wales Bonner once belonged, important names in the industry today who began to forge their own path some time ago with the support of this proposal.
In this way, and continuing with its support work, the Inditex Group becomes a curator and promoter of emerging talent, supporting the professional careers of designers and making their ideas known to the rest of the world. Last May, Pull&Bear was officially presented as a sponsor of the BFC NEWGEN to act not only as a partner but also as a promoter in terms of education to carry out mentoring and resources to nurture the creativity of designers.
A special partnership that also gave rise to the ‘Canvas for Creativity’ project, a platform for creative expression where young emerging talents find a way to boost their careers. It is a kind of blank canvas where they can express themselves and dream freely while creatives from different artistic disciplines (fashion, art, music…) let their imagination fly like never before.
This year, the designers who have been selected by Sarah Mower MBE (BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent) to participate in the BFC NEWGEN 2024/2025 are:
- Aaron Esh
- Ancuta Sarca
- Charli Constantinou
- Chet Lo

- Leo Carlton

The main objective of this strong alliance is to support emerging talent, serve as a platform for creativity and build responsible, sustainable and innovative global brands. All this through education and the necessary tools to enable them to develop their projects and business infrastructures in the most effective way possible.
