PUMA and Rhuigi Villaseñor behind the RHUDE brand team up once again, this time for the fifth part of a collaboration designed to celebrate the five boroughs of New York City.
Villaseñor has collaborated on multiple occasions, both through his RHUDE brand and independently as a designer with PUMA, creating a lasting bond over the years. “When I collaborate as Rhuigi, I can tell an even more personal story and explore the things that made me who I am.”
The fifth drop is a celebration of hidden gems, community cornerstones and local heroes. This tribute is told through a carefully curated selection of barbershop-inspired items. With items specially designed for the occasion, part five is an invitation to sit in the barber’s chair.
In this latest capsule, Villaseñor includes two tracksuit jackets and matching short sets, available in blue or pink striped patterns -bringing a classic and elegant air-, two collared tops in white and navy blue, as well as a cap that features an “NYC” patch. But undoubtedly the highlight of the collection are two new versions of the PUMA Clyde.
The PUMA x Rhuigi Drop V will launch on 12 August and will be available at PUMA’s official website, flagship shops and selected retailers.
PUMA is once again collaborating with designer Dapper Dan on a Harlem-style streetwear capsule.
