Offering a limited edition of its most iconic silhouette: the Speedcat.
PUMA has decided to pay tribute to light in a launch that combines sporting heritage, precision craftsmanship and an extra touch of sparkling fantasy. Three elements that define both the history of the sporting giant and the century-old legacy of Swarovski, which is celebrating 130 years of history.
The collaboration reinterprets the 1999 Speedcat, a black, minimalist and aerodynamic silhouette, now covered with 5,316 black Swarovski crystals, applied by hand in four different sizes, outlining PUMA‘s signature Formstrip without the need for any lines: just emptiness, shine and shadow.
The result is a piece that seems to move even when at rest, a design exercise where light becomes texture and technical performance and aesthetic sophistication are elevated. Each pair comes in very special, minimalist packaging, marked only by the subtle joint logo.
The new Speedcat x Swarovski will be available from 24 October.
