For the duo’s fourth collaboration, Noah‘s Brendon Babenzien draws inspiration from a 2002 snapshot of wrestler Hudson Taylor captured by photographer Collier Schorr in a campaign that puts the spotlight on the DIY technique she devised.
PUMA x Noah presents an ongoing collection that includes two new footwear silhouettes and a range of vintage sportswear; illustrated through a series of ‘athlete off-duty’ footage, with models walking through pre- and post-match scenarios such as the gym and open-plan changing rooms.
The collaboration includes the ‘PUMA Arizona’ and ‘Wrestling Boot’ footwear iterations. The former are constructed from a navy blue suede and cashmere upper, set on a blue outsole and polished rubber stamped with logos along the lace cover.
Meanwhile, the high-top sneaker boots are presented in neutral tones, with a leather-detailed upper and PUMA lettering inscribed in gold on the tongue.
As for the clothing range itself, it features a pair of cotton dungarees with multiple pockets, along with a nylon Coach jacket with sherpa lining. Elsewhere, graphics are printed on hoodies, T-shirts and sweatpants, while a fleece biker cap and travel bag close the collection.
The collection is now available on Noah’s website and in the flaship NYC shop.
