Starting next March, it will be more expensive to replace the battery in almost all iPad, iPhone and Mac models. As announced by Apple, this increase will affect devices that are out of warranty.
Production costs have been significantly affected, which has led Apple to increase prices from 1 March. With the exception of the new iPhone 14, all models of the device will experience this increase.
For models after the iPhone X, Apple will charge $69 for battery replacement and for devices with facial recognition, the cost will be $89. Making the switch on the iPhone 14 will cost a total of $99 and on the iPhone 8 or older models, $49.
