LaQuan Smith is inspired by retrofuturism for its new collection. The New York designer proposes a series of looks full of vibrant tones and accentuated shapes for SS21.
LaQuan Smith’s (@laquan_smith) new proposal is marked by a series of looks presented as the best option for the season. Influenced by the excitement of a utopian future, bright fabrics like satin and leather mark the collection. In turn, the line features V-neck blouses, puffed sleeves, quilted pieces and asymmetric options. The most characteristic feature: the chromatic range that gives light to the looks. Orange, blue and pink become the protagonists of each of the garments.
A brilliant magenta gabardine, tight dresses with asymmetric cuts and the most spectacular bodies stand out. Patterns are added to the collection as graphic images printed in black and white.
