RIVERLAND Warm Up is taking over FABRIK on Saturday

More than 35 artists and up to 10 hours of non-stop music will serve as a prelude to one of the most eagerly awaited festivals of the year.

On 28 March, RIVERLAND Warm Up will return to Fabrik with a programme that, as well as amplifying the emerging sound, will reaffirm the event’s standing within the cultural scene. RIVERLAND began as a haven for an urban scene that was developing away from the spotlight, where the experimental and the authentic could not find a place within traditional formats. It is that very spirit that is now expanding in a new edition of Warm Up.

This year’s line-up serves as a reflection of the current national urban scene, with names such as 8Belial, Ébano, Gloosito, TK MAMI, Soto Asa and Ben Yart representing the different facets of contemporary sound. Alongside them, more than 30 artists round out a line-up that aims to connect with those who have been part of the movement for years.

For the first time, el Warm Up is reaching beyond the local scene and fostering an international dialogue through a selection of artists who link Madrid with some of the world’s leading creative hubs. From the UK comes Kwes E; from Argentina, Taichu; Chile brings the energy of FaceBrooklyn; and the US features artists such as Jeleel and Wakupfilthy, who have worked closely with figures like Playboi Carti.
