You’ll never be able to play like Ronaldinho, but at least you’ll be able to dress like him thanks to the Nude Project guys.
Nude Project has done it again: it has managed to bring an iconic character into its universe and transformed it into a historic collection for any mortal. This time, it calls Ronaldinho to its ranks, who after surprising in his debut at Paris Fashion Week 2024 by walking for KidSuper, bets on music and expresses his true passion through a very personal collection by the hand of Nude Project.
His style of play, full of impossible dribbles and magical assists, defined the concept of “Jogo Bonito”; now, this is materialized in an unprecedented collection in which R10 has not only lent his image for the campaign, but has been involved in the entire creative process, contributing unpublished photos and personal anecdotes that have become the soul of the garments. The result? Basically the story of the soccer star told through the new Nude Project garments.
From the “Mum Crewneck,” which pays tribute to the Golden Ball he received from his mother at Camp Nou, to the “Ronista Leather Set,” a premium sheepskin piece with Brazilian-inspired floral details, each garment tells a part of his story.
The collection is also an ode to the joy of Rio’s Carnival, with vibrant colors, fresh designs and an air of casualness that captures the essence of Brazilian culture. But Nude Project also wanted to pay tribute to Ronaldinho’s transition from dreamer boy to global icon. The “Heart Pants,” for example, feature a laser-etched design with a childhood image of him, while the “Ronaldinha Polo” brings back the vintage aesthetic of soccer jerseys, perfect for fans of blokecore.
To tell this story as it deserves, the Nude Project team went to Brazil with photographer Pepe Herreros, capturing the essence of the “Jogo Bonito” in iconic settings such as Copacabana beach and the streets of Vila Nova.
The R10 x Nude Project collection will be available from February 20, 2025 on the brand’s website. So if you want to carry a piece of history in your closet, you better be quick… because this collection promises to fly as fast as a Dinho dribble in his prime.
