With a double proposal that includes a pop-up and a live show, Rossy de Palma will mark the start of the new season after the summer vacations.
The Parisian department store will reopen its doors on August 26, presenting a renewed offer with the presence and unique style of Rossy de Palma, who over the years has stood out as the muse of designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Rossy’s role in this exciting “rentrée” of Le Bon Marché will be manifested through two main elements. First, there will be an incorporation of a selection of pieces of Spanish origin into the galleries’ commercial offerings, seeking to recreate the artist’s distinctive creative universe. Secondly, there will be an exclusive live show, designed under the artistic direction of Rossy de Palma and Pi Piquer, which will take place inside the commercial gallery for three consecutive days.
“Rossy de Palma, a favorite muse of international cinema, is an infinite source of inspiration for the worlds of art and fashion,” say the directors of Le Bon Marché. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Rossy de Palma has evolved into an icon with a poetic and eccentric personality. Beyond her role as an actress, she is considered a spectacle in her own right, a multi-faceted artist who defies convention.
Under the “Olé Olé Le Bon Marché” initiative, the Parisian shopping gallery will present “Villa Rossy”, a pop-up designed as an imaginary house that captures the creative universe of Rossy de Palma. This pop-up will house a carefully curated selection of artisanal and signature brands of Spanish origin, offering an amalgam of influences that reflect the artist’s imaginative world. From furniture to handcrafted jewelry, the “Villa Rossy” pop-up will showcase a variety of unique pieces, embracing traditional Mexican craftsmanship and other styles influenced by the essence of Iberian artistic heritage.
In addition, as part of the “rentrée”, the live show “La Vie en Rossy” will take place from September 13 to 17, which will take place inside the Parisian shopping malls and will offer a unique experience starring Rossy. The performances will take place on three consecutive Wednesdays in September, and attendees will be able to enjoy a one-hour show without intermission. Tickets will be priced at 50 euros per person and will include free checkroom service. Reservations will be final and non-refundable.
