It’s indisputable that SABEK has positioned himself as a reference for new generations seeking to generate social change through art. Although wild animals and the colour black have always been his hallmark, the artist continues to experiment and evolve through colours, textures and abstraction. Silence echoes this and has counted on the artist to carry out a very special action in the capital of Madrid and in this way spread the concept and his latest campaign ‘La Ciudad en modo On’.
The artist shared through his social networks how he lived ‘La Ciudad en modo On’ while riding a Silence motorbike, the S01 model. SABEK showed us his new studio in Carabanchel and some of his murals around Madrid such as the Prague Bridge and the Caleido Tower. The tour culminated at the Silence flagship store in Serrano where he intervened the shop window creating a unique piece. He was joined by content creators @victorius_r1m, @milplanespormadrid and @nievesfelipo who were running their own tour in parallel.
To put this in context, ‘The City in On Mode’ seeks to transmit freedom and autonomy thanks to the Battery Stations, a network of electric stations with a ‘SWAPPING’ exchange system that allows you to change the removable battery (trolley type) of your Silence in less than 30’. And Silence defends that: ‘We are movement, energy, dynamism and we need to reflect that emotion. We are the ones who help you experience EVERYTHING the city has to offer, without missing out on anything, because you won’t lack energy. Because we are everywhere’.
