The Autumn/Winter 2024 collection was presented during New York Fashion Week on 9 February.
Willy Chavarria‘s 2024 has been a year of milestones. Not only did he put on two memorable shows, but he also won the CFDA‘s American Menswear Designer of the Year award. And just before the year comes to a close, he decides to offer a much more intimate look at his proposal entitled ‘Safe From Harm’.
With this series of pieces, the designer gets very close to what he really wants to achieve through fashion. In his own words: ‘This collection is very sensitive and I wanted to make sure I’m not doing something that distracts from reality. I want to acknowledge how we all feel right now, which is not very good. But at the same time, to remind us that we are here for each other.’
