Anthony Vaccarello once again redefines the idea of the everyday through a campaign that masterfully mixes glamour, irony and distorted costumbrismo. Because Saint Laurent‘s ‘normality’ is anything but normal. And even less so if Martin Parr is part of the equation.

The acclaimed photographer, icon of the kitsch-pop documentary aesthetic, offers a series of images that immerse the viewer in scenes that look like something out of a surrealist picnic. Food, fashion and summer fun combine with the absurd precision of a millimetric dream to reveal the Maison‘s new objects of desire.

Apolline Rocco Fohrer, Stefano Tartini, Lina Zhang, Chantall McCann and Li Cheng Yuan bring to life this dreamlike journey that sparkles with contrasts. Prêt-à-porter is displayed without complexes: silk crepe skirts with ruffles, brocade jackets and jacquard coats? Everything has its place in Vaccarello‘s world.

But the real stars of the show are the accessories. The Le 5 à 7 Bea bag in leopard print is the jewel of this summer, while the Babylon Breteuil Slingback ankle boots exude luxury in every millimetre of their structure.
