Salomon debuts technical Mary Janes

The current trend in the system of reinterpreting the classic Mary Janes through sporty treatments offers technical twists on the romantic silhouette, as seen in previous collaborations such as Cecilie Bahnsen x ASICS or Heaven x Kiko Kostadinov for the same brand.

Now, the treatment is carried out by Salomon to present its new minimalist ‘RX MARIE JEANNE‘ model in which it fuses two contrasting styles crossed in two neutral colourways that offer versatility to the styling: in ghost grey and black.

The upper of the silhouette takes on the shape of a traditional Mary Jane, with a deep slit and a single strap across the upper made from lightweight and breathable 3D stretch mesh combined with nubuck leather. The design sits on an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning.

Salomon’s sandal of the summer will be available on their website from the 4th of April for around 120 euros.
