Can luxury walk among skyscrapers, storefronts and big city traffic without losing its charm? Schiaparelli says yes. And it proves it with SCHIAP IN THE CITY, its FW25-26 ready-to-wear proposal, where Parisian savoir-faire is translated into cosmopolitan closet and codes ready to conquer the city.
Here there are no plaster bustiers or direct references to Dalí, but bootcut pants with golden rivets, structured shirts without rigidity, and cowboy bags reinterpreted for the urban context. A silhouette designed to walk between Paris, London, Los Angeles, Dubai or Tokyo with the same intention with which Daniel Roseberry creates each seasonal proposal: to leave a mark.
The collection unfolds between earthy browns, dense blacks, off-white and gray, soft fabrics and plaid patterns that seem designed to work between meetings, mid-afternoon coffees and shop windows that are reflected in the glass of the subway. Flowing shirts, jersey skirts with contained flight, sharp bootcut pants…. Pieces that do not need to go viral to become memorable. The Schiaparelli gesture remains, but is managed: a button-bijoux here, a rounded line there. All clean, all functional, all recognizable.
In short, the new Schiaparelli FW25-26 ready-to-wear collection transfers the surreal sophistication of the maison to everyday language, without drama, but with a clarity of codes that remains instantly recognizable.
