Hélas fuses contemporary French culture with the heritage and craftsmanship of Schott NYC, rescuing the Aviator G1 jacket from the archives. This aviator-style jacket embodies the 90s French aesthetic that defines Hélas. The leather jacket is available in 3 colours: black for the classics, brown for a nostalgic vintage approach and navy blue for a more Y2K version.
Slightly oversized and with crinkled leather, the jacket tries to evoke nostalgia by recreating the feeling of wearing something with history and well constructed. There are two versions of the removable fur collar, one matching the jacket and the other in off-white, to suit the occasion, as well as a detachable inner waistcoat. The campaign, shot by Cyril Gaborit at the Chavenay Aerodrome in Paris, gives a nod to the classic Top Gun through the Malika, JB and Karl models.
