Scorsese’s new project with DiCaprio and De Niro already has a release date

Martin Scorsese’s upcoming film Killers of the Flower Moon produced by Apple Original Films will be released in the fall of this year.

Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon will first arrive at Cannes 2023 this spring; and will be officially released in theaters on October 6, and in larger theaters by Paramount starting October 20. It will later also be included in the Apple TV+ catalog.

The film, inspired by the book of the same name by David Graham, tells the story of a shocking true case: the serial murder of sixty members of the Osage tribe in 1920s Oklahoma. The crimes, considered some of the most brutal murders in U.S. history, were committed by local chieftains to appropriate the tribe’s oil wealth.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro previously worked together in This Guy’s Life (1993), and moviegoers are excited to see them both again directed by Scorsese. The cast also includes Brendan Fraser, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow and Lily Gladstone. Expectations for the upcoming release are very high.
