The Wallabee, Clarks’ absolute icon, transcends seasons and trends to establish itself as one of the most influential silhouettes in the history of footwear. A cultural archetype that, far from running out of steam, now finds a new turning point by becoming the creative canvas for SCRAPWORLD, which reinterprets the model from a radically contemporary perspective.

The collaboration takes Maple Suede as its colour base: a recognisable and almost sacred shade within the Wallabee’s DNA, overlaid with new visual codes and materials. Small metal pieces cross the upper, while an exclusive logo with the “S” of SCRAPWORLD — created specifically for this edition — reinforces the idea of identity and appropriation. Added to this are multicoloured wool laces and a side label with the classic logo, composing an exercise in deconstruction that does not destroy, but rather reconfigures the essence of the original model.

The narrative extends beyond the footwear itself. The project finds continuity in packaging designed based on the aesthetics of the laces, a decision that underlines the conceptual coherence of the collaboration and elevates the object to a collector’s item. The entire creative process has been developed in dialogue with Gonzalo Pinelo, reinforcing the authorial nature of the launch.

The model is now available in very limited quantities through the SCRAPWORLD online shop.
