Your health problems could put you and your baby’s life at risk.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Selena Gomez decided to open up about her private life and, in particular, about motherhood. In 2015, she was detected with lupus and in 2017 she had to undergo a kidney transplant, which has considerably conditioned her life. Now, she confirms that she cannot become a mother naturally.
“I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s life in danger. It’s an issue I’ve had to mourn for a while, but I’m working on it and I’ve gotten a lot better,” assures the celebrity. “I feel very grateful for the other alternatives that are offered to all those people who want to be mothers. I am one of them. I’m very excited because, at the end of the day, I don’t care. It’s going to be my baby,” she continues.
Her love life, however, continues to go from strength to strength with Benny Blanco, with whom she has been in a relationship since mid-2023. Rumors that they could be engaged began to emerge a little less than a month ago, when Selena shared on her social networks an image with a heart emoji on her ring finger, but so far neither of them have confirmed or denied these comments.
