The Galician artist launches the second instalment of his musical trilogy with an album destined to break new ground and consolidate his position as a reference on the current scene.
After the success of ‘El Origen’, the first volume inspired by the journeys that marked his childhood and the number plate of his father’s car, Sen Senra now takes us down a deeper and more personal path. ‘El Emigrante’ is a tribute to all those who have been forced to leave their homes in search of a better future. A tribute to his Galician roots and to the nomadic spirit that has defined his career.
There are decisions that mark a before and an after, paths that are travelled without the possibility of returning. Senra understands this better than anyone, and this is reflected in his artistic evolution. Authenticity, avant-garde and a dazzling capacity to reinvent himself are the keys that define his proposal. ‘PO2054AZ Vol. II’ is, without a doubt, his most ambitious work to date: a fusion of sounds and experiences that intertwine his roots with global influences.
The perfect example of this is ‘Recorrerte’, a track that unites Spain and Mexico thanks to the collaboration of Carín León. In addition, Sen Senra displays all his talent in a collection of expansive and catchy tracks such as ‘Mis Amigos Opinan Lo Mismo’, ‘Llorando x 1’ with MC Dricka, ‘Hermosa Casualidad’ with Aitana, and new favourites such as ‘Meu Amore’ and ‘Ataúd’.
This second volume is much more than a simple album: it is a sonic manifesto that reflects the constant search for new horizons, both musical and personal. A work that will undoubtedly mark a before and after in his career and in the Spanish music scene. Listen to it now by clicking here.
