Sen Senra publishes ‘Radiante’: A hymn to Galicia

Sen Senra has released “Padiante,” the second single from PO2054AZ Volume III, “The Return.” It concludes his long-awaited and ambitious album trilogy, which pays tribute to his journey as an artist. Written entirely in Galician, “Padiante” is a declaration of love for his homeland: “I’m here now. Come with the wind, I’ve looked behind my eyes; I’m happy here,” the song begins, inviting the listener to immerse themselves in the green of the forests and the murmur of the rivers.

Sen Senra makes his Galician DNA clear; he doesn’t give in; he defends what’s his. “They’re stealing all the river water from us, so we’ll cry together, for we’ve saved so much inside. (…) but here we won’t stop living our whole life, praying.” These verses encapsulate the resilient spirit of their land, which feels its culture and identity deep within its being, and which will also defend it against all the men who come.

“Padiante” has already become an organic viral phenomenon. Without resorting to traditional strategies, the song has circulated massively on WhatsApp and TikTok, accumulating more than half a million views in videos shared by users themselves. “Padiante” has directly connected with a generation of Galicians marked by emigration, achieving a profound impact through an intimate, nostalgic, and authentic narrative.

Sen Senra is preparing to release PO2054AZ VOL III: “El Retorno” on June 6th, the conclusion of his trilogy following “El Origen” and “El Emigrante.” This final chapter, inspired by his father’s car license plate—a symbol of his musical beginnings—represents an emotional and personal journey that connects with those immersed in their own journey. These tracks feature already established songs like “Hermosa Casualidad,” featuring Aitana, and “Uno de Eses Gatos,” with Sky Rompiendo, reaffirming his place on the national scene.
