SHOOP launches collection with the great Kishin Shinoyama

SHOOP launches this Thursday 25th February its capsule collection together with the great Kishin Shinoyama. The Japanese artist is internationally acclaimed for his editorial work and celebrity photography.

The collaboration pays homage to the artist’s work by recreating some of the photographs from his books “Nude” (1970) and “28 girls by Kishin Shinoyama” (1968), in the prints of his garments. The collection, inspired by freedom, vindicates the naturalness and beauty of the human body and the nude under the slogan “NUDE IS BEAUTIFUL“, launching a critique of the artistic and creative censorship that we experience on some platforms and social networks today.

For this editorial SHOOP, the firm founded by Yohei Oki and Miriam Sanz, has once again collaborated with the photographer Alex Cascallana, an admirer of Shinoyama’s work. In addition, it has counted on several artists and young creatives who represent his vision, such as the designer Evangelina Julia (Evade House), the photographer Adriana Roslin, Antonio Delgado (PR at the communication agency Pelonio) and the models Aritz Kortabarria and Jayver Steev.

SHOOP x Kishin Shinoyama will be available from February 25th at SHOOP’s online shop and selected shops such as RESTIR, GR8, ACRMTSM and SVD, among others.
