SHUSHU/TONG, the Shanghai-based brand, has just unveiled perhaps the best ASICS sneakers to date. Or at least that’s what devotees of the coquettish aesthetic who romanticise their everyday looks will think.
Captured by Beijing-based photographer Effy Yu, the image appears to be a teaser for what will be a larger collaborative campaign, which may be rolled out across a collection that revolves around and accompanies the central sneaker.
As for the shoe itself, it features a leather construction in a classic black colourway with leather ruffles, a chunky sole and a back strap. Otherwise, they appear to be sealed by the ASICS logo in red on the tongue, made from a breathable mesh fabric.
At the moment, no further information about the release or price has been revealed. As always, we’ll keep an eye out for any further updates.
