The one-day music event, under the artistic direction of Skepta, will feature two stages and will be held at Crystal Palace Park in southeast London during July next year.
The artist announced that one of the stages will be organized by his record label, Más Tiempo. In an Instagram Live, Skepta teased his fans about the surprises in store for them, assuring that there are plenty of performances to look forward to from him. The rapper said in the Live, “I’m thrilled to finally announce that Big Smoke Festival is official…. I’m so excited, it’s been crazy to do this. I just want to say thank you to all the fans, it’s been a couple years since you’ve seen me on stage….. I know a lot of people have been wondering when they’ll see Skepta at a festival and I really wanted to save all that energy and put it into something that was for us, by us”.
“There will be a live stage with all your favorite acts, anyone you know that is Skepta related. There will be a live stage on one side and the Más Tiempo stage, which will also have a full lineup. I might blow up one stage, fly to the other and link to Jammer. It’s going to be crazy”, he continued.
Tickets will go on sale online from the 1st of December, so hurry up if you don’t want to miss the opportunity.
