Skepta’s ‘Knife and Fork’ to arrive this year

The British artist announces the arrival of his new album and shares a preview of the lead single titled ‘Gas Me Up (Diligent)’.

It looks like 2024 is going to be a big year for Skepta. After announcing that his first Big Smoke Festival will be held at London’s Crystal Palace Park in July, the rapper has just announced that ‘Knife and Fork’, his sixth studio album, “is on its way”. And although an official release date has not yet been confirmed, what we do know is that the album’s lead single, ‘Gas Me Up (Diligent)’, will arrive on 26 January and will be a preview of all the surprises he is preparing.

“It’s been years since I released my last album and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus. I’ve seen the messages, tweets and Tik Toks, and I’m really grateful that my music continues to resonate in the world, even in my absence,” he says.

And speaking of new musical projects… This year we’ll also be able to enjoy what’s new from Ariana Grande.
