Sneaker designer Kitty Shukman unveils what the Yzy D Rose was going to look like

Remember when YEEZY and Derrick Rose got together to collaborate on a shoe that never came out? Well now designer Kitty Shukman has leaked the prototype of these shoes that she designed herself.

Kitty Shukman is one of those generations cradled by Lagerfeld’s fashion shows. This young sneaker designer, a 2018 graduate of the London College of Fashion, worked hand in hand with Kanye West at YEEZY. “I left YEEZY after almost three years and took some much-needed time out for myself. As a creative, your job is to find ideas all the time, but if you’re not nurturing that field and giving it the nutrients it needs, no crop is going to grow continuously.”

Now the designer has posted via Instagram this trainer that was never released. It’s the YEEZY in collaboration with American basketball player Derrick Rose, who is a member of the Memphis squad. In her post Kitty said: “Looking through some old work, I found the first quick sketch I made while sitting in the woods, seeing this fallen tree resembling a creature that inspired the concept”.
