After the catastrophic passage of the DANA through the province of Valencia and other regions of the country, the music sector is uniting in solidarity. From 11 November, SOM VALÈNCIA will be holding a series of solidarity concerts in numerous cities and venues in Spain. This initiative, born between several agents of the music sector and adopted by the music industry, seeks to raise funds that will go entirely to those affected through the Horta Sud Foundation, a non-profit organisation with more than 50 years strengthening the cultural and social fabric of Valencia.
Artists of all styles, along with venues and professionals from the sector, will offer music to cheer up the spirit and channel solidarity from all over the country. Tickets, priced between €15 and €20, will be available from 7 November at 12 noon from DICE, which will not charge commission and will assume the transaction costs to ensure that 100% of the proceeds reach their destination. There will also be a zero queue for those who wish to contribute beyond the ticket price.
