Sonidos Líquidos is the sustainable festival in which the most important thing is the environment of La Geria (Lanzarote) and its landscape. Each edition promotes a wide range of actions that promote measures to protect and preserve the area, while attendees can enjoy good music and exquisite cuisine at the same time.
This year, the festival has received three stars in the A Greener Festival certification, making it one of the few events in Spain to achieve this. The Iberian Festival Awards also wanted to recognize the merit of the festival by nominating it in the categories Contribution to Sustainability, Best Tourism Promotion and Best Festival in Spain and Portugal in Medium Format, whose award will depend on the popular vote.
Sonidos Líquidos will celebrate its next edition on June 10 with artists such as Crystal Fighters, DePedro, Arde Bogotá and Dûpre who will perform on the stage of Bodega La Geria. The organization also celebrates small concerts in different corners of Lanzarote and the archipelago called “Experience”, in which music and gastronomy go hand in hand.
This season there have been two installments of Experience; the first in March, held at the Museo del Campesino with Lisa & The Lips and their melodic soul and funk of the most unique. The experience included a tasting of Lanzarote wines paired with delicious bites of a unique gastronomic offer. In May, the last Experience took place at Bodega El Grifo, with the energetic show of Biznaga, which was enjoyed by around 250 people while they tasted wine references of the Island and the best local gastronomy.
And speaking of music, Recycled J releases new album “Casanova”.
