Aimed at restless and innovative minds, the collection draws from contemporary art, full of spontaneity; takes references from the technological advances that the world has experienced in a short time; and explores the boundaries between the natural and the synthetic, always connected in today’s reality. “The Mess Before I Wake Up” is a testament to the brand’s deep commitment to interactive fashion, resulting in pieces that make up not just a collection, but a stimulating game.
Embodying the spirit of SSSTUFFF, each garment has its own story and its own interactive element, making them not only wearable, but an experience in themselves. Throughout the collection, pieces such as the “Ads Zip-up Hoodie” stand out, inspired by the ephemeral paper ads that populate the streets. This hoodie is a nod to the ephemeral beauty of urban life and captures the essence of street art, itself a statement of intent.
Another standout is the Xtufff hoodie, inspired by a famous rocket company known for its disappointing merchandising. Its graphic depicts a toilet brush that soars like a rocket. Combining humour and innovation, SSSTUFFF introduces a graphic that changes colour in the sunlight, as well as elements that feel real to the touch, such as the toilet brush. The “Animals are friends” hoodie is a tribute to our furry friends. It is a thank you to our departed companions and a celebration of the time they spent with us.
As for the accessories, the lenticular bag stands out, inspired by a trip to Los Angeles where the sunsets were reminiscent of those in Barcelona. This bag uses 18 pieces of 3D lenticular postcards to merge the two cities in a visual experience that captures the essence of both places. Also noteworthy is the tape measure belt, born out of the confusion of working with different measuring systems. Cut My Hair is a jumper that invites play and interaction; the doodle’s hair can be cut and customised, making each piece as unique as its wearer.
“The Mess Before Wake Up” will be available from 21 March at the SSSTUFFF Flagship Store in Barcelona and at ssstufff.com.
