Studio FY7 x New Balance 576: An Ode to Mediterranean Living

Having first collaborated in 2020 to bring a new version of the 992 model to life, New Balance and Studio FY7 reconnect once again and bring the spirit of the Mediterranean to the 576 silhouette.

Younes Bendjima, founder and creative director of Studio FY7, is clear: his Algerian roots define him. That’s why he has always wanted to pay tribute to his culture through his work, and now he has designed his second pair of sneakers in collaboration with New Balance. The 576 model from the sports brand is presented through the vision of Bendjima, who travelled to the Mediterranean coast to soak up the relaxed lifestyle that characterises it and immortalise it in his latest creation.

On a black rubber sole, a cushioned ENCAP midsole and grey mudguards, the all-black design in mesh fabric sits. Black suede overlays on the toe and heel, while silver takes over the heel area. The iconic ‘N’ logo appears in turquoise blue, paying homage to the area’s crystal clear waters.
