Stüssy and Levi’s push denim forward with exclusive capsule collection

Stüssy and Levi’s have teamed up to launch a capsule collection consisting of two exclusive denim pieces.

After presenting its recent collaboration with Timberland, the brand founded by Shawn Stussy now announces its next collaboration with Levi’s, where it pushes the power of denim. In doing so, the two Californian roots celebrate the anniversary of the 501® jeans, which have been redesigned with the Trucker Type II jacket.

The 501® is presented in a blend and texture of washed denim and worn indigo, while retaining the original straight-leg cut, five pockets and eight-button closure.

To mark the occasion, an embossed logo has been created that combines the emblems of both brands and is repeated on both the jacket and trousers. In addition, a custom back patch, a special edition embossed pocket and an anniversary pocket have been included.

The Type II Trucker Jacket also comes in a mix and matched texture of washed denim and faded indigo, with matching bottoms. The jacket has been modified to feature a boxy cut, relaxed armhole, welt pockets and corduroy collar. All buttons feature the co-branded logo, while the inner lining hides the classic Stüssy eight-ball logo print. Finally, the back features the emblem in large, stamp-like form, resulting in bold visual and tactile textures.

The Stüssy x Levi’s capsule collection will be launched on 24 February globally and will be available on Levi.com, stussy.com as well as in some of the brands’ physical shops and Dover Street Market.
