The renowned American graphic designer and art director has designed an exclusive T-shirt collection for the Californian label.
Internationally recognised in the world of design for having defied all the limits of this discipline, David Carson (Texas, 1995) began to explore the universe of graphic design when he was 26 years old and little by little his name gained weight until, in 1992, he founded the magazine ‘Ray Gun’ together with the editor Marvin Scott Jarrett. It was at that time that he decided to experiment with typographic and editorial design and link it to some of the most relevant cultural currents of the 1990s, such as the pop movement.
Now, he joins the Stüssy team (after having worked for major clients such as Nike or MTV) with the aim of offering an exclusive selection of limited edition pieces that combine the streetwear essence of the label with some of the most recognised codes of his career and his unique language.
Three pieces in the form of short-sleeved T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts are created, intermingling graphics and motifs in a variety of special collages.
The Stüssy x David Carson capsule collection is now available on stussy.com.
