Sugar Rush* is a brand that creates unique music experiences. It hosts everything from club nights and private parties to listening rooms, always keeping the audience and the music at the heart of each event. The collective was founded by Tommy Gold alongside his friends Jaime Prunas and Josh Coniglio, with the mission of bringing culturally influential figures closer to the electronic music world and getting people dancing again.
After a year of activity in London — including intimate and exclusive events as well as larger nights at well-known venues like Colour Factory — Sugar Rush* also performed in Paris, New York, and Dubai. Most recently, they took part in the Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo before expanding their influence to Madrid.
In collaboration with Edgar Kerri, a key figure in Madrid’s cultural scene, the collective organised a two-night event in the city. The first night took place at Club Malasaña and the second at El Internacional. This line-up was led by Tommy Gold, who introduced DJ Kim Turnbull and the young DJ and producer Gjin Lipa to the audience.
The musical offering combined house and UK garage. For the first time, Madrid’s attendees experienced the “Sugar Rush* effect”, dancing late into the night in an atmosphere full of energy and great music.
With these events, Sugar Rush* continues to establish itself as a reference point that combines culture, music, and the dance experience, connecting audiences and artists across different corners of the world.
