Supreme and Nike are set to elevate the iconic Air Force 1 once again, recalling their landmark Fall/Winter 2012 collaboration with the iconic Canvas and Gum Air Force 1 Lows. Since then, the duo has released numerous collaborations, including the Air Force 1 High collection with the brand, multiple versions of the Air Force 1 Low with COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT, an Air Force 1 Mid with the NBA logo, and, most recently, the Air Force 1 Low in a “staple” colourway.
Now, as part of Supreme’s anticipated F/W 2024 collection, the Air Force 1 Mid is expected to receive the “staple” treatment. While official images of the upcoming trainers have yet to be revealed, it is rumoured that they will come in classic all-black and all-white versions of the Air Force 1 Mid.
The collaboration between Supreme and Nike, which spans over two decades, began with the legendary SB Dunk Low, released ten years before 2012’s aforementioned Air Force 1. In recent years, they’ve explored more esoteric models and entirely new silhouettes. In April, they released an SB Darwin Low, preceded by the first Air Max DN collaboration in February and a high-gloss Courtposite in October 2023.
While no official release date has yet been announced for the rumoured Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Mid, it is expected to arrive later this year.
It looks like Meta CEO Marc Zuckerberg is expanding his horizons and delving into the world.
