Supreme introduces exciting new collaborations for 2024 in a burgeoning trend where it is now creatively intertwining with skate brand Toy Machine, founded in 1993 by Ed Templeton, California artist and skateboarder pro.
Toy Machine‘s satirical critique now connects with Supreme’s high-end streetwear, introducing its iconic characters such as the cult, the monster and the evil cat in its pieces.
The Supreme x Toy Machine SS24 collection celebrates Toy Machine‘s legacy and impact on the skateboarding world by translating their most iconic motifs into Supreme’s closet staples and accessories. From a faux fur vest or Harrington jacket, to workwear-inspired pants, a 5-Panel, a belt, a skateboard or a JBL® clip-on speaker.
The capsule also references Toy machine’s debut video “Live!” (1994), which featured the cast of Jamie Thomas, Brian Anderson, Elissa Steamer, Donny Barley, Mike Maldonado and Chad Muska. This clip, which has crossed generations and has generated a cult following within and outside its community, is paid tribute to through a selection of pieces featuring the artists.
The collaboration will go on sale through the streetwear label’s website on March 7 at 11 a.m. EDT in the U.S. and on March 9 at 11 a.m. JST in Japan and Seoul.
