Although the news is not the public’s business, as she clarifies in her Instagram post, the recent cheating rumors have made her want to speak out about it.
The two have wanted to take their time to separate and it seems that everything has been in a healthy and amicable way, as they will remain business partners, team and family. Teyana Taylor shared, “Iman and I have been separated for some time now. To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ is not one of the reasons for our separation. We are still best friends, great partners and make a great team when it comes to raising our two precious children.”
Despite the explanations to protect their separation, a TikTok has resurfaced that has further fueled the infidelity rumors. Tales have it that Taylor was hospitalized due to the aftermath of Shumpert’s cheating, causing her to cancel a show in 2021. However, as she explains in the text, there was no cheating: “the only reason I’m sharing THIS part of the chat is because the narratives are getting a little out of hand and it’s unfair to all parties involved.”
