The adidas Jabbar ‘Suede Pack’ stands as a vibrant retro revival

Reviving basketball nostalgia, this 1978 classic originally designed for the courts resurfaces in suede.

The collection includes three versions of this timeless design: a Jabbar High in striking cobalt blue and two Jabbar Lows in equally bold shades of deep red and fresh green. All models share cream details such as the iconic three stripes, laces and heel tabs, creating a contrast that accentuates the retro style.

However, the key difference in the design lies in the tongue: the high version keeps the same colourway as the body of the shoe, while the low versions opt for contrasting proposals. As a nod to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s legacy, each pair includes a gold detail on the tongue with an illustration of the legendary skyhook, reminding us that this model was pioneered not only as adidas‘ first basketball shoe, but also as the brand’s first signature shoe, blazing a trail in the history of athletic footwear.

The ‘Suede Pack’ will be available from December 5th on the adidas website.
