The Attico is tired of being consistent (and so are we)

Consistency is overrated. Or so suggests The Attico in its new FW25 campaign, which kicks off with a statement that could be tattooed on the back of any girl with a multiple personality -I’m exaggerating a bit- and an unpredictable closet: “Consistency is a trap”.

Gilda & Giorgia once again remind us that The Attico woman is not here to define herself. Much less to fit in. She moves between extremes, changes register according to the context and does not ask permission to do so. Today it’s tailoring with XXL shoulder pads, tomorrow it’s a slinky dress with snake print. Because duality is logical, human. Rosalía already said in Saoko: “I am very much my own, I transform myself”. Transformation is not only inevitable, it is desired. And on this path, each phase has its aesthetics. Its spirit. Its attitude.

The trench coat becomes a key piece. Cargo pants with zippers bring back interactive styling. The varsity jacket with an oversized logo smacks of 2000s nostalgia, but without falling into costume. And the accessories – over-the-knee boots, curvy heels, mini bags like La Passeggiata or Day Off – close the gesture with intention.

The palette? Minimal and urban: blacks, grays, beiges, olive greens. With occasional touches of wine red and ice pink, as if the collection also knew when to turn up the volume, depending on the moment.

Like a butterfly just out of the cocoon. Because to be many is, quite simply, to be real. And if someone doesn’t get it, that’s okay. We’re not here to be readable, but to live on our terms. That’s why The Attico once again represents us, because it doesn’t define itself, nor does it need to.
