The Danish firm Han Kjøbenhavn presents its “Chtonic Penumbra” collection, featuring sculptural silhouettes and diverse textures.
Han Kjøbenhavn founder and creative director Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen has brought to Milan Fashion Week a dark and futuristic display of sculptural fashion, which also features a collaboration with the game Diablo IV.
Predominant in the collection are curvy silhouettes alternating with ultra-straight ones, as well as disparate eye-catching textures. The main fabric used for this range is vegan leather, both in jackets, mermaid dresses and coats. Faux fur, feathers and silk also adorned the garments.
Three of the most relevant looks in the collection are composed of a white ensemble with a waist-length feather jacket, a sheer mermaid-tailed dress, and a bronze-colored sculptural top paired with a long structured skirt. Some of the brutalist dresses include layering, and the sharp-shouldered jackets convey a mix of terror and seduction.
Davidsen says that working with Blizzard Entertainment was natural and easy, as they have a lot of common ground when it comes to creativity and aesthetics. Without a doubt, the collaboration with Diablo IV is one of the strongest points of this collection.
