The Barcelona Boat Show kicks off with Nautik Magazine and Vicente Boluda

Barcelona became a meeting point for the nautical industry. One day before the start of the Boat Show, Nautik Magazine presented its second print issue at a private event that brought together key figures from the blue economy, strategic brands and industry leaders.

The event was supported by Caixabank, De Antonio Yachts, Barça Hospitality, Taittinger and Bodegas Perelada. It served as a prelude to one of the most important weeks for the nautical industry in Spain, consolidating Nautik as a leading publication at the crossroads of the sea, sustainability and lifestyle.

Cristina Pampín opened the event with a clear message: to connect industry, institutions and emerging talent. She was followed by Luis Conde, president of the Barcelona Boat Show, who offered a structured vision of the present and future of the maritime sector in Spain.

Andrés Rodríguez, editor of Nautik Magazine and President of Forbes Spain, presented the editorial roadmap of the magazine within the SpainMedia ecosystem. The presentation included audiovisual materials, featuring a video with Gotzón Mantuliz, the cover star of this issue, which captured the publication’s visual and conceptual identity — transversal, contemporary and in tune with new audiences.

The night concluded with a toast among professionals, yacht owners, designers, journalists and institutional representatives. A controlled networking moment that reflected the magazine’s positioning. Nautik is establishing itself as a key platform within the nautical sector.

Vicente Boluda, “Mariner of the Year 2025”

At the event, it was announced that Vicente Boluda has been named Mariner of the Year 2025. The award highlights his career at the helm of one of Europe’s most important shipping groups. The award ceremony will take place in December, as part of Nautik Magazine’s annual calendar, which seeks to raise the profile of the people who define the Spanish maritime industry.
