‘Couleur Vivante’ was conceived by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
Prada‘s new fine jewellery collection is articulated through its own chromatic language, where harmonies, symbiosis and contradictions dialogue in surprising combinations of precious stones.
Moving away from the classic codes of traditional jewellery, Couleur Vivante explores the absolute power of colour. Amethysts, aquamarines, Madeira citrines, pink morganites and gold-green peridots take centre stage in an extremely vibrant and attractive colour spectrum. The contrasts act as a kind of metaphor that questions what luxury means for Prada today.
The timeless beauty of archetypal pieces—drop earrings, solitaires, linear bracelets, and riviere necklaces—is destabilised through asymmetrical proportions, interrupted cuts, and disruptive contrasts. In this way, the House frees gems from their traditional rigidity, allowing them to shine in a state of chromatic purity and movement.
It is worth mentioning that each Couleur Vivante jewel is registered on the Aura Consortium blockchain, allowing customers to verify its authenticity and access the visual journey that each design has taken: from the rough stone to its final form, cut and polished. In addition, each gem has a certificate issued by an independent gemmological laboratory of reference, which guarantees its traceability and excellence.
The campaign draws on imagery that reflects this same tension between tradition and rupture, with Maya Hawke, Kim Tae-Ri and Amanda Gorman portrayed in powerful monochrome images that transform into canvases veiled by translucent layers of colour. Their faces coexist with jewels that float in a kind of almost unreal state.
