David Koma enters the men’s universe for the second time with his Fall-Winter 2025 collection -his first foray was in June of last year-. This new chapter in his career reaffirms his mastery of design, while continuing to define the identity of the Koma Man: an individual who balances strength, sophistication and authenticity.
The collection, deeply personal, arises from the dual experience of the designer as creator and consumer. The result is a men’s closet that moves between sports culture, tailoring and the casual style of the man who walks the streets of London. In this fusion, Koma manages to strike a balance between an everyday and party closet.
Rugby, a personal passion of Koma’s, also permeates the collection with a unique energy. Iconic elements of the sport are transformed, finding new expressions in key pieces. Chunky knit sweaters are reimagined in leather and fine cashmere blends, while the embroidered badges typical of rugby jerseys evolve into organza appliqués and houndstooth designs scattered throughout the fabric of the garments. Even stadium scarves, emblems of fan culture, are elevated to a level of sophistication typical of the designer’s universe. Converted into metallic mesh and adorned with crystals, these pieces are integrated into evening gowns.
The streets of East London become the inspiration for pieces such as slim-fit polo shirts with checkerboard prints or loose-fitting tracksuits in melange gray and black, adorned with houndstooth panels.
Koma’s signature is present in every detail. The shark fin chain motif, already characteristic of its men’s line, returns this season on silk shirts and embroidered outerwear. Another iconic element, the garter detail, is reinvented as denim rivets and crystal embellishments.
