The ‘Earth Mapping Camouflage Ice Jacket’ through Liam MacRae

An exclusive piece signed by Stone Island whose charm lies in its peculiar camouflage print.

The landscape of the earth as graphic, created from satellite imagery, takes over the AW ‘24-’025 collection. Seasonal camouflage contrasts organic shapes with rigid lines, as if the untouched land were next to fields of solar panels. The Ice Jackets change pattern depending on the temperature, with aspects of the design appearing and disappearing.

This is a thermo-sensitive down jacket made from a lightweight, 100% recycled, tightly woven nylon repellent, resin-coated on the reverse side and printed on the outside.

The garment changes its appearance when exposed to the cold thanks to printing with both pigmented colours and a heat-sensitive substance. It is treated with a special PFC-free anti-drip agent and is padded with premium down. The detachable, down-padded hood has an inner fur mask fastened with press studs.
