The Halloween parties that define Madrid’s nightlife

From the high-fashion aesthetic of Whell The Party to the electric pulse of Club Malasaña: six ways to understand the darkest night of the year.

The Halloween parties that define Madrid’s nightlife

Madrid has a natural talent for nightlife. When Halloween arrives, the entire city shifts gears, demonstrating why its nightlife is among the liveliest in Europe. There are no fake pumpkins or cobwebs; there are red lights, refined techno and a collective desire to cross the line between style and excess. This year, the most powerful parties are not the biggest, but the most conscious. It’s not about where you dance, but what universe you choose to inhabit. Here are the six events that will set the pace in the capital on 31 October.

1. Whell The Party at CORE Club

There are parties, and then there’s Whell. In just one year, it has become the most coveted Halloween party in Madrid’s nightlife scene. Its Halloween edition at the new CORE Club promises meticulous production, a cinematic setting and an audience that leaves nothing to chance. It could be said that it’s the closest thing to the Halloween parties organised by celebrities and cool kids in New York. Here, costumes are replaced by outfits that look like they came straight out of a magazine spread: latex, dreamy wigs and impossible makeup.

The line-up has not yet been revealed, but knowing their attention to detail, the secrecy will only increase the desire. And on a night when everyone is looking to get in, Whell remains the place where everyone wants to belong.

Where: CORE Club, 27 Tetuán Street.

When: 31 st October, from 11 p.m.

Tickets: here.

2. Mailine Club at Club Malasaña

In the heart of the neighbourhood, Club Malasaña has achieved something that seemed lost: bringing back the freshness, instinct and authenticity of the night. This Halloween, the venue is hosting the Mainline Club party, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season, bringing together a veritable constellation of all-stars: Daniel 2000, Quim, JP Sunshine, John Heaven, Marcelo Pantani, Nile Fee and Young Prado.

The line-up speaks for itself: a combination that unites the pulse of clubbing with the irreverence of Madrid’s new musical culture. The event is not about costumes, but attitude. Techno, hip-hop, hybrid electronica and the carefree energy of the people who are already shaping the cultural future of the city. The result: an elegant rave with an after-party vibe, but with precision and style.

Where: Club Malasaña C/ San Vicente Ferrer 23

When: 31 October, from midnight.

Tickets: here.

3. 99 Percent Nice at Gilda Club

Some labels are born with a purpose, others with an identity. 99 Percent Nice belongs to the latter category: a new music platform created by Le Nomad to explore the most sensitive margins of club sound with its no phones policy. This Halloween marks its official debut in Madrid, with a party designed as a statement of principles. The venue chosen is Gilda Club, which will be transformed for the occasion into a two-speed refuge.

At GROUND (from 10 p.m.), local DJs Gato & Q will open the evening with cocktails, warm lighting and the iconic Gildas, with a sunny selection of Italo, Balearic and Disco that sets the hedonistic tone for the start. At midnight, the mood changes: in the UNDER (from 11:59 p.m.), the basement comes alive with Le Nomad and Maï-Linh, who will take the dance floor on a deep journey through techno, breaks and emotional textures. No skulls or machine smoke here: Halloween is danced with your eyes closed.

Where: Gilda Club (Centre).

When: 31 October, from 10 p.m.

Tickets: here.

4. El Amante Club

Located at Calle Santiago, 3, just a few steps from the Royal Palace, El Amante —also known as Casa Amante— is the latest incarnation of Madrid’s most sophisticated side. The legendary venue has been reborn under the direction of the same team behind Club Malasaña and La Discoteca, two of the spaces that best define the contemporary pulse of the capital. The result is a place that promises to become the new meeting point for creatives, musicians and night owls with taste.

The space combines the design of a signature bar with the sensual energy of a European club: Halloween, here, is a choreography of seduction: melodic house, restrained rhythm and lighting that will make you let yourself go. The crowd—models, artists, designers and Madrileños who see the night as an extension of their aesthetic. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Berlin or Paris, but with that Madrileño lightness that makes sophistication seem natural. The line-up will be revealed soon.

Where: C/ Santiago 3.

When 31 October, 11 p.m.

Tickets: here.

5. Vampires Night at CUPRA City Garage Madrid

At the heart of Serrano 88, CUPRA City Garage Madrid’s flagship space is getting ready to reinvent the very idea of Halloween. Under the title Vampires Night, the venue transforms into a design-driven rave where architecture, sound, and light interact with surgical precision. A Halloween closer to Blade Runner than The Nightmare Before Christmas: sensual futurism, razor-sharp rhythm, and an atmosphere that turns steel and neon into pure nocturnal poetry.

The line-up promises a high-voltage sensory experience. Israeli DJ Roi Pérez, resident at Panorama Bar (Berlin), headlines the night with a hypnotic yet sophisticated set, capable of turning any dance floor into a narrative of energy and desire. Joining him are Raquel X and Hessa from CODEX Sessions, key figures of Madrid’s new electronic scene, bringing texture, emotion, and a fresh vision of contemporary techno.

Where: CUPRA City Garage, 88 Serrano Street.

When: 31 October, from 9 p.m.

Tickets: here.

6. Parallel Society at Café Berlín

A true classic among classics, Café Berlín remains that rare place where the night retains its original meaning: the dance floor as refuge, the body as language, and music as a shared experience. This Halloween, the legendary club hands over control to Parallel Society, one of Madrid’s most magnetic and accomplished collectives, capable of transforming darkness into a form of collective clarity.

On the decks, two names that embody the essence of the new clubbing scene: Foie Gras and Martin Valladares (All Night Long). The former will unfold his signature elegance, gliding between liquid house and emotional techno; the latter, with an extended set, will guide the dance floor through a journey that shifts across hours, textures, and moods with the precision of someone who understands sound as storytelling. It promises to be a Halloween night we’ll remember forever.

Where: Café Berlín Club, 20 Costanilla de los Ángeles.

When: 31 October, midnight.

Tickets: here.
